The First Slam Dunk Anime Movie Premieres On Disney+ Hotstar Next Week

After months of anticipation, the eagerly awaited anime movie THE FIRST SLAM DUNK is set to land on 10 June 2024 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

One of the highest-grossing anime movies of all time, THE FIRST SLAM DUNK follows high school student Ryota Miyagi as he attempts to lead the Shohoku basketball team to the Inter-High School National Championship. Born in Okinawa, Ryota was inspired to follow in his older brother’s footsteps, playing with calculated precision and lightning-fast speed. Working together with fellow teammates Sakuragi, Rukawa, Akagi, and Mitsui, Ryota brings Shohoku to the cusp of greatness, but will they have what it takes to overcome reigning champions Sannoh Kogyo High School?
