DC’s Kite Man Animated Series Glides In This July; Features More Screwball Humour

If you’ve watched the past few seasons of DC’s Harley Quinn comedy series on HBO Go, you’re also familiar with the loser villain Kite Man. Due to the character’s popularity(?), he’s getting his own spin-off series called Kite Man: Hell Yeah!

The show is about Kite Man and his day-to-day supervillain & criminal life while keeping the henchmen bar Noonan’s afloat. Other characters popping up in the show include his girlfriend Golden Glider, Batman villain Bane, Lex Luthor, Man-Bat, and Darkseid. The show will still retain the humourous and violent streak from the Harley Quinn animated series, but this time from a wannabe-villain’s perspective.

Voice actors include Matt Oberg as Kite Man, Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn, the late Lance Reddick as Lex Luthor, and Jonathan Banks as Noonan. Also, legendary voice actor Keith David is voicing DC’s big bad from Apokolips, Darkseid. What’s not to love? DC’s Kite Man: Hell Yeah! will be premiering on Max and Warner Bros. Discovery streaming services on 18 July. No word on whether it’ll be out on HBO Go Asia or other Warner Bros-syndicated platforms.
