Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack 2 “Khaos Reigns” DLC Announced, Ghostface & Rule 63 Kharacters Added

Publisher Warner Bros. and developer NetherRealms have announced the next Season DLC for its 2D fighting game Mortal Kombat 1.

The Kombat Pack 2, kalled Khaos Reigns, will feature the following playable kharacters:

• Ghostface from the Scream horror series
• Noob Saibot from MK3 onward
• Sektor, but a chick. Known for her rockets.
• Cyrax, but a chick. Known for her green net and bombs.
• Conan the Barbarian from the Conan franchise
• T-1000 (a.k.a Robert Patrick’s iconic role) from the Terminator franchise

We reported earlier on the Ghostface and Conan leak a while back; turns out they’re all true.

The DLC will also feature new story chapters and a new Animality update, which is most likely the animal-based fatalities that started in MK3. The latter update is free.

Here’s the story synopsis:

“After repelling the invaders who endangered Fire God Liu Kang’s New Era of peace, Mortal Kombat 1 “Khaos Reigns” expands the story campaign with an all-new cinematic narrative. When a perilous threat arrives from an alternate timeline, led by the ruthless Titan Havik whose sole mission is to throw the realms into khaos, Liu Kang must rally his champions and put faith in his enemies to defeat this grave danger. If they fail, the New Era will be reduced to anarchy.”

Khaos Reigns will be out starting 24 September for PC, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch(?).
