Spongebob Squarepants’ Best Pal Gets His Own Sandbox Adventure

During the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase August 2024, Outright Games has unveiled the first trailer of the new SpongeBob SquarePants game, but this time, his best friend Patrick Star will be getting the spotlight.

The physics sandbox adventure game, titled SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game lets you play as Patrick Star. Players can cause mayhem in Bikini Bottom and do silly stunts, such as sky diving, digging up treasure in a dump, and throwing exploding pies. What’s more is that Patrick can participate challenges given by the iconic characters from the franchise, like Squidward, Sandy, Mrs. Puff, and more.

Those interested can pre-order the game on the Nintendo eShop today. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game will be heading to Nintendo Switch on 4 October 2024.
