MDEC And Matrade To Lead Malaysian Gaming Companies In Tokyo Game Show 2024

Another year, another Tokyo Game Show 2024 where all Asian and Western companies congregate at the Makuhari Messe from 26-29 September to show off the best in gaming and its future. The upcoming trade show will be hosting a number of country-based pavilions for game companies of particular countries to get the TGS trade show spotlight for all four days.

Malaysia will be one of the chosen countries, with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) joining forces to lead 10 Malaysian gaming and creative content companies at this year’s showing. These companies include Ammobox Studios of Eximius fame to Magnus Game Studios, known for RPG-sim-hybrid title Re:Legend.

Here is the full list of companies who will be at the Malaysia Pavilion at TGS 2024:

  • Ammobox Studios: the makers of real-time strategy and shooter hybrid title Eximius.
  • Magnus Game Studios: the makers of Re:Legend, Ethia Online, and Project Survival.
  • Todak Studios: Game and game peripheral company; part of esports organization Todak.
  • Why Know: Game dev services and game art creation.
  • Rcade Studio: Makers of brawl title Xeroes.
  • Goolee: makers of puzzle game Goolee.
  • Bear Down Studios: Concept art development services.
  • Dreamscapes Edtech: Immersive game-based learning digital world company.
  • eSolved MSC: Youniverse games maker; involved with Metaverse.
  • Adticles Sdn. Bhd: An AR/VR content development company.
