One Of Japan’s Best Animation Studio Just Released An Epic Transformers Animated Special
There’s no such thing as too much Transformers animated specials, especially when it’s made by the folks behind the Delicious in Dungeon anime adaptation and Kill la Kill.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hasbro-owned toy series Transformers, Studio Trigger has released a 3+ minute special animation that combines all existing Transformers shows and characters in one awesome music video, played to the tune of a Bump of Chicken song called “Mayday”.
There’s a lot to love here if you’re a Transformers buff. My personal favourites include seeing Overlord in action for a brief moment…
…Starscream, his Seekers, and Waspinator flying together…
Fortress Maximus, Star Saber, and the other Primes with their anime swords,
..the Bayformers getting a scene,
…Sari Sumdac from Transformers: Animated,
…Devastator and all the dead Constructicons on the beach,
…and all the Optimus Primes and Megatrons throughout the 40 years of Transformers.
If this 3-minute anime special is a precursor to Studio Trigger possibly doing a multiverse Transformers anime series, I am completely down with that plan
