Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice Sets for Console later this Year

Daedalic Entertainment and Mimimi Games have announced that the standalone expansion to the hit game, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun will finally set to make its way to console platforms later this year.

Originally released on PC via Steam on 7 December 2021, Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice will make its console debut on 7 December 2024 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Players can now pre-order the game on both platforms, taking advantage of a 10% discount available until the release date.

In Aiko’s Choice, players will step into the shoes of Aiko as she confronts the cunning spymaster, Lady Chiyo, while grappling with her own past. The gameplay expands beyond Aiko, bringing along familiar characters Hayato, Mugen, Yuki, and Takuma. The expansion comprises three main missions paired with three shorter interlude missions, offering a rich experience for both new and returning players.

Players can choose from three versions of the game: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition. Unlike the Shadow Tactics base game, Aiko’s Choice will not be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a decision that may be revisited by Daedalic Entertainment in the future.
