Volleyball Pokémon-Inspired Beastieball Launches this November
Pokémon meets volleyball in this highly anticipated sports turn-based game, Beastieball! Scheduled for release in Steam Early Access later this 13 November, the game is published by Klei Publishing and developed by Wishes Unlimited, the talented creators behind Chicory: A Colorful Tale and Wandersong. Players can look forward to an engaging playtime of approximately 15 to 25 hours in the Early Access version.

The developers have promised a wealth of post-game content during the Early Access period, including new Beasties, formidable bosses, exciting story events, and additional characters. Quality-of-life improvements and new features will also enrich the gameplay experience. The Early Access version is expected to be available on Steam at least until the end of 2025. Although it will launch in English, further language support is planned to cater to a wider audience.
In Beastieball, players will train a team of sport-loving Beasties who compete in thrilling turn-based volleyball matches. As players explore diverse regions, they will face off against ranked coaches in their quest to qualify for the prestigious Crown Series. During these matches, players engage in dynamic 2v2 battles, with each Beastie showcasing their unique strengths and weaknesses. Strategy is key, as players can outmaneuver opponents by targeting spots the opposition can’t reach or by knocking out opponents’ Beasties using various tactical moves. For more, you can play the demo now on Steam.
