Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Drops Sooner Than Expected

The wait for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II just got a little shorter. Originally slated for release on 11 February 2025 after a delay last August, Warhorse Studios has now announced that the highly anticipated sequel will launch on 4 February instead.

In a Wednesday update, Warhorse’s global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling confirmed the game has officially gone gold, meaning it’s essentially complete.

“KCD2 is also gold now. What does that mean? Well, it means that the game is more or less finished, we are right now in the last stretches of optimisations and of bug fixing.”

If that wasn’t enough to fuel the hype, more details are on the way. On Thursday, Warhorse plans to reveal PC and console specs alongside a brand-new story trailer. Stolz-Zwilling also highlighted some next-gen perks: the game will feature Quality and Performance modes on the PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, plus PS5 Pro enhancements.

Set amidst the chaos of 15th-century Bohemia’s civil war, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II builds on the success of its cult-classic predecessor with a refined open-world RPG experience. So, mark your calendars—Bohemia’s war-torn lands are calling on 4 February 2025.
