Mafia: The Old Country Trailer Officially Revealed At The Game Awards After Recent Leak
The Game Awards 2024 just gave us a first proper look at Mafia: The Old Country, and it’s got a whole lot of Sicilian drama in store.
After a teaser dropped in August and a 15-second snippet leaked last night, we finally got the full trailer, revealing a 2025 release window. Developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games, the trailer, titled “The Initiation,” skips gameplay for dramatic in-engine cinematics.
We get our first glimpse of the game’s new don, who ominously declares, “This is a family, bound by blood,” before we’re swept into a bloody mix of operatic music, switchblades, and gunfights. The game’s set in early 1900s Sicily, so expect plenty of high-stakes mafia action.
Coming to Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and Steam, Mafia: The Old Country is likely heading for an M rating thanks to its mature content. But hey, when you’re dealing with blood ties and broken omertas, what else did you expect?
