What’s in Store for 2025?

MOONTON’s roadmap ensures that MLBB’s competitive scene remains non-stop. Here’s the breakdown:
- International Tournaments: The MSC 2025 will light up mid-July to early August, followed by the M7 World Championship in January 2026.
- Professional Leagues: The MPL circuits will dominate two halves of the year: March–June and August–November.
- Third-Party Thrills: Tournaments like the Snapdragon Pro Series and the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand promise a stacked schedule, with MLBB even earning its spot as an official esports title at the SEA Games for men’s and women’s medal events.
MOONTON also teased plans for their latest game, Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG), which aims to carve out its own esports ecosystem. Currently soft-launched in Malaysia and Singapore, the strategy game has already hit over 10 million pre-registrations and will debut tournaments starting in Indonesia.
A Global Vision for Esports

Mike Chu, MOONTON’s Head of Regional Esports, highlighted MLBB’s growing global appeal:
“With the inclusion of a Chinese league and increased regional diversity at M Series tournaments, MLBB is now truly a global esports brand.”
This sentiment echoed at the M6 Summit, which saw a historic first: teams from four different regions reaching the Semi-Finals of the M6 World Championship.
To foster global growth, MOONTON also signed an MoU with the Jordan Esports Federation (JEF), aiming to nurture Jordan’s esports scene through tournaments, education, and talent scouting.
The Bigger Picture
Beyond the competition, the M6 Summit brought together over 200 industry leaders to explore innovation and collaboration in gaming and esports. With support from partners like Qiddiya and Hotlink, MOONTON Games is doubling down on its mission to expand esports and build stronger communities worldwide.
If 2024 was exciting for MLBB fans, 2025 promises to be a blockbuster year for the world’s most popular mobile esports title.
