Squid Game Meets Call of Duty This January
Activision is gearing up for a high-stakes crossover, bringing Netflix’s Squid Game to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The collaboration is set to launch in January 2025, coinciding with the highly anticipated second season of Squid Game, which debuts on Netflix on 26 December 2024.
The teaser trailer for the crossover, now available online, hints at the iconic show’s eerie and intense themes seamlessly blending into Call of Duty’s universe. This partnership adds another layer of excitement to the franchise, particularly for fans of both the game and the Netflix series.

Adding to the buzz, Netflix will roll out Squid Game: Unleashed on 17 December for iOS and Android devices. Developed by Boss Fight Entertainment, this multiplayer “party royale” game reimagines childhood games with a dark, dystopian twist. Available exclusively on the Netflix app, players can team up or compete against up to 32 participants in a tournament of survival, with challenges escalating in difficulty. Customisation options for avatars and cash rewards add depth to the gameplay.
For fans of Squid Game, these back-to-back releases promise an exciting end to 2024, blending the thrill of the series with two vastly different gaming experiences.
