Ninja Gaiden 4 Officially Announced, First Mainline Entry In More Than A Decade

During the Xbox Developer Direct January 2025 live stream, Koei Tecmo, Team Ninja and PlatinumGames officially announced Ninja Gaiden 4.

The game will have a brand new protagonist named Yakumo. However, the original and previous protagonist, Ryu Hayabusa, will also be playable.

The last mainline entry in the franchise was Ninja Gaiden 3 in 2012.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is slated to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Xbox Game Pass in fall 2025.
