Oscars 2025 Nominees Announced, One Of Last Year’s Best Horror Movies Get Multiple Nominations

The Academy Awards have announced the Oscars 2025 nominees. The 97th Academy Awards AKA Oscars 2025 will take place on 2 March 2025.

Multiple movies receive a variety of nominations, including favourites such as The Brutalist, Anora, Conclave and Wicked.

However, the most notable highlight of this year’s Oscars is that The Substance has received multiple nominations, including for Best Actress, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Makeup & Hairstyling.

It’s extremely rare for a horror movie to be nominated for so many awards, as the horror genre tends to be unfairly snubbed during awards season in the past.
