Respawn Entertainment is celebrating Apex Legends’ sixth anniversary by giving content creators the keys to the Apex Games. Yes, really.

In Season 24: Takeover, four streamers will step into the role of Kuben Blisk—the fictional Apex Games Commissioner—each taking charge for two weeks between 25 February and 28 April. Their job? Shake things up with special challenges, limited-time modes, and exclusive cosmetics while the rest of us scramble to keep up.

The Community Takeover

Each creator’s reign kicks off with a week of community challenges. The more objectives the Apex player base completes, the more free Apex Packs are unlocked for the following week:

• Tier 1: 10 Apex Packs
• Tier 2: 15 Apex Packs
• Tier 3: 20 Apex Packs

During week two, players who clear five in-game challenges will claim the unlocked Apex Packs and a Legendary-tier weapon skin selected by the streamer in charge.

Who’s Running the Show?

Here’s the lineup of streamer overlords and the weapon skins they’re bringing to the fight:

• 25 Feb – 10 Mar: Ninjayla (Death Ray Wingman)
• 11 Mar – 24 Mar: Oraxe (The Pioneer Kraber)
• 1 Apr – 14 Apr: Apryze (Bone Breaker Mastiff)
• 15 Apr – 28 Apr: Kaminari Qpi (Tombstick Mastiff)

Respawn is keeping the limited-time modes under wraps for now, but expect more details when the patch notes drop.

Extra Loot & Buffs

For those who enjoy Twitch more than touching grass, watching an approved Apex Legends streamer will earn you a free banner frame via Twitch Drops. Players can also grab a Creator Commissioner-themed stat tracker to gift their in-game friends.

Oh, and in case you missed it, the trailer also teased buffs for Ash and Ballistic. Plus, Arsenals—a new type of loot bin—are coming to battle royale, packing a weapon, ammo, and a handy attachment.
