Shrek 5 Announced; Adds One New Actress To The Ogre Mix

Dreamworks Animation and Universal are going back to the Far Far Away well.

Both companies have officially announced Shrek 5; this was teased at the end of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

The new teaser showcases the returning voices: Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, and Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona. New to the cast is Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy, Challengers), who is voicing the new ogre in the trailer, who may presumably be one of Shrek’s kids Felicia. If you remember, Shrek and Fiona had triplets, with one of them being Felicia.
