Battlebrew Productions Announces New Roguelite Dating Sim Hybrid For PC

Singapore’s own indie game studio Battlebrew Productions (Cuisineer) has announced a new title that combines girls, food, and Hades-like combat.

The new title is called HellHeart Breaker and it is an action roguelite and dating simulation game hybrid that takes place in a Southeast Asian-themed underworld.

From the folks who brought you Cuisineer, comes a hack-and-slash action roguelite… with a dating sim!

HellHeart Breaker—the monster girls you date grant you newfound powers, and the girls you don’t… are the bosses you fight! In this dungeon-crawler roguelite, you are locked away at the bottom of the Underworld, fighting your way out.

Set in an Asian-themed Underworld reminiscent of 1920s Shanghai, you awaken in a forgotten room of a bathhouse, quickly becoming a new resident of the last remaining city in the Underworld, Aashraya. With no recollection of who you are, and marked by an ominous prophecy, you set off to figure out who you truly are.

Discover the rich history of the world, while getting to know the unique and varied characters of this place – From a Naga princess to an Oni blacksmith, or mayhaps a Kitsune courtesan or Asuran enforcer; the denizens of Aashraya have much to offer you.

Learn new abilities and master the elements from the scions of the different clans while perhaps falling in love with one… or maybe even two of them.

Each Clan Scion brings their own unique circumstances and troubles – it is up to you whether you wish to walk alongside them in this life, or reject their ideals and pit yourself against them.

The feral darkness can only be kept at bay for so long. Fight your way out of the underworld and see the end of this age – either as its savior or its doom.
