Bloodthief Is An Ultra-Fast Dungeon Runner Crashing In This September
You’ve heard of boomer shooters, but what about boomer slashers? That’s what developer Blargis’ debut is aiming for with its new first-person action game Bloodthief.
Bloodthief is a late 90s-3D-looking title (think the first Quake) influenced by Neon White and Ghostrunner, where you play the game in first-person while dashing and speeding through obstacles and enemies while killing them with precision.
You play as a vampire who fuels their powers by drinking the blood of undead foes, chaining parkour and brutal slashes into an unrelenting dance of speed and carnage. You can also chuck bats(?) to faraway spots and then teleport dash straight to them for traversal & speedrunning purposes.
Bloodthief is an ultra-fast melee dungeon-runner where you use momentum to parkour through hazardous dungeons and brutally slash through enemies. Speed-run through medieval dungeons and castles and learn what dark secrets lie beneath the surface.
Bloodthief will be out on 22 September for PC (Steam). Wishlist the game here.
