Jurnal Risa: Dark Destiny Is A New Horror Game From Indonesia; Out Now

Digital Happiness, the indie game studio behind the DreadOut series, today announced the launch of Jurnal Risa: Dark Destiny on Steam. This new supernatural horror game draws from Indonesian folklore and the popular Jurnal Risa stories.

The game combines supernatural encounters with tense player decisions. Inspired by the novel Sawarga Malapetaka, it explores themes of fate, family, and inherited fears. Players will meet spirits not only as threats but as beings with intent and personality, where choices can move the story forward or lead to fatal outcomes. The project was developed in collaboration with author and storyteller Risa Saraswati.
