Developer Brain Jar Games will be releasing its upcoming 3D beat-em-up action title Dead As Disco next month. After racking up over 300M+ views and over a million demo players, the rhythm-driven beat ’em up will launch on May 5th in Early Access form for PC.

What can you expect in this build of the game? Players will be treated with a wild ride through the neon-drenched world of Dead as Disco. Complete with the first arc of a rich narrative campaign, skillful challenges, rockstar fashion and an original soundtrack with over 30 songs. If that’s not enough for you, then bring your own beats with “My Music” and experience endless gameplay all to your own personal score.

After playing a bit of it, we predict this may be 2026’s cult hit game with its combat, visuals, controls, and overall style. This may be a streamer-unfriendly game given the licensed music used, but hopefully the devs can make a streamer-friendly version for content creators everywhere in the actual 1.0 version.
