[Rumour] Call Of Duty Warzone Mobile Is In Development

Activision may have accidentally revealed that Call Of Duty Warzone is in development for mobile platforms like Android and iOS, according to new job listings posted on LinkedIn. They posted a message last week on their official LinkedIn page about new job listings, which stated:

“Activision Mobile has put up new roles!

Teams are focused on Live Operations and content expansion across CoD Mobile and Warzone.

Our dev teams are dedicated to mobile and comprised of all major disciplines.

We’re hire globally, and in addition to Art and Production we’ve opened new roles for Engineering (Graphics & C++) and Designers (Game/System).

Drop in and drop us a line.”

Check out a screenshot of the post, in case it’s ever deleted. At the time of writing, it’s still up.

Earlier in March 2021, Activision sent out a survey about Call Of Duty Mobile and referenced both Warzone and Verdansk coming to the mobile game.

However, take all this with a grain of salt for now. Activision has yet to officially announce or confirm Call Of Duty Warzone for mobile. In other related news, the previous modern version of Call Of Duty Warzone‘s Verdansk map will never come back again, according to developer Raven Software.
