CD Projekt Buys Ex-Bioshock Dev Studio To Make A New RPG
CD Projekt announced that it has bought indie developer The Molasses Flood for a new big project.
The Molasses Flood was formed by ex-Irrational Games developers, the team that made BioShock and BioShock Infinite. The company was also staffed with developers who worked on Halo 2 and Rock Band. The company’s most recent game was Drake Hollow.
The Molasses Flood announced that it was joining CD Projekt to work on its Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, and Gwent projects. More specifically, the indie studio will be working on a completely new game in the universe of an existing CD Projekt IP.

The company will be keeping its name while CD Projekt will be helping the indie studio’s “culture and growth”.
