King of Fighters XV Gets Special Animated Short From Masami Obari

You may remember anime character designer & director Masami Obari for his art style and vision, with shows like Gowcaiser and the Fatal Fury animated films with his stylized character designs and interesting interpretation of the female anatomy.

Just today, the esteemed artist/director and his animation crew has worked on a new The King of Fighters XV special animated short, featuring characters old and new posing and being all action-like in a new trailer. It’s not as flagrant as in the 90s fan service-wise, but it still is worth a look. Also, there’s a glimpse of the game’s last boss at the start of the trailer, so there’s that little piece of nugget.

KOF XV will be out on 14th February for Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC, PS4, and PS5.
