New LEGO Star Wars Game Is The Biggest LEGO Game On Steam Right Now

The new LEGO Star Wars game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, just launched on Steam today. It’s already the biggest game in the LEGO and Star Wars game franchise so far.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga currently has 82,517 concurrent players according to SteamDB, as well as being in Steam’s current top 10 games. This puts it above current player counts for Destiny 2 and Grand Theft Auto 5.

While the new LEGO game’s numbers aren’t on par with Dota 2, Lost Ark, Elden Ring, PUBG, and Apex Legends’ current numbers, it’s still a milestone for LEGO games and Star Wars games as a whole. For comparison, the last Star Wars game was Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order which had 46,550 players at launch back in 2019. The last LEGO game was LEGO Marvel Super Heroes which had 5,953 concurrent players in 2014. Guess people of all ages are clamouring for a LEGO and Star Wars all-ages action adventure title after so long.
