Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 2 Starts Today With The Addition Of Bridget
Anime fighting game fans will be getting more Guilty Gear Strive this year and the next.
Arc System Works announced during EVO 2022 that its Season Pass 2 DLC is underway, with a new(?) character joining the fray: the little yo-yo fighting boy Bridget. He fights with his yo-yo and with a scary bear that pops up for an assist from time to time. He’s classified as an all-round and easy-to-pick-up character with long-range attacks and mobility. Lore-wise, he’s a bounty hunter who was brought up and raised as a girl by rich superstitious parents.
Bridget is available on the roster later today, 8th August.
In addition, Arc System Works celebrates the first year of Guilty Gear Strive with a music video “Find Your One Way” which chronicles the Guilty Gear storyline, featuring the major battles Sol Badguy goes through in the 10 years he’s been around. It’s epic stuff; the studio behind all this animation is called Sanzigen.
Finally, Arc System Works announced that Guilty Gear Strive has surpassed 1 million units shipped worldwide.
