Sonic Movie Producer Working On Live-Action Pac-Man Movie
A source from The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that the next big movie adaptation for a video game is Bandai Namco’s classic quarter muncher: Pac-Man.
The big-screen adaptation of the arcade classic will be based on an original idea by Chuck Williams; he’s known for being the producer of the successful Sonic The Hedgehog films. Williams will be making the Pac-Man movie alongside his company Lightbeam Entertainment and Wayfarer Studios.
Speaking of Pac-Man, Bandai Namco will be making a modernised version of the 1999 PlayStation platformer title Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Here, Pac-Man has to rescue his pals from six ghosts in six worlds in 2D platforming glory.
