Destiny 2 Fortnite Skins Are A Thing; Leaked Ahead Of Big Lightfall Reveal

We knew Destiny 2’s big expansion Lightfall is getting a deep dive later this week on 23rd August, but we weren’t expecting some of its skins making their way onto the world’s biggest battle royale game.

That’s the case, as Sony, Bungie, and Epic are teaming up to have its free-to-play shooters collab with each other. According to a new datamine leak, Destiny 2 will be crossing over to Fortnite by way of a Titan, Warlock, and Hunter skin for the latter game. These cosmetic armours are inspired by Fortnite’s Black Knight, Drift, and Omega skins, it seems.

There’s no additional info on whether the collaboration will extend beyond these outfits. Bungie and Epic Games have yet to comment; we think this announcement is slated for this week’s Gamescom 2022 Opening Night Live games showcase featuring Geoff Keighley.

Destiny 2’s crossover with Fortnite and its upcoming Lightfall expansion will be revealed officially on 24th August 12am ahead of the Gamescom 2022 showcase. This will be Bungie’s first showcase since its acquisition by Sony for US$3.7 billion.
