Dragon Quest The Adventure Of Dai Gets Video Game Spin-Off
If you love the recent Dragon Quest anime on Netflix, but want a real-time playable version of it that’s not on mobile, Square Enix has news for you. The company has shown off new gameplay of the upcoming video game adaptation of Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, subtitled Infinity Strash.
Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai (or Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: Infinity Strash) is an action RPG title that chronicles the anime series’ featuring Dai and his party members. The game features two modes: a Story Mode that retells the anime story up until the “Battle of Sovereign Rock Castle” arc and features Dai’s pals Popp, Maam, and Hyunckel.
The action RPG also features a separate mode called Temple of Memories, which is a roguelike mode with random levels and enemies you have to plough through with your chosen party members and setups. The game also features items called Bond Memories that you can equip for stat boosts. When you acquire one of these, a one-shot scene from the original comic will play out.

Dragon Quest The Adventure Of Dai: Infinity Strash will be out for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam); no release date has been announced as of yet. The game will be launched simultaneously worldwide.
