Netflix’s Formula 1 Drive To Survive Season 5 Gets New Trailer
Netflix’s Formula One Drive To Survive Season 5 gets a new trailer ahead of its 24 February 2023 release date. Season 5 of Drive To Survive will include previously unseen behind-the-scenes footage captured across the 2022 season, along with interviews from drivers and personalities up and down the grid.
James Gay-Rees – who produced the Academy Award-winning documentary Senna – continues as Executive Producer alongside Paul Martin – who produced the similarly acclaimed documentary Diego Maradona – for Box-to-Box Films.
The 2022 Formula One World Championship ended with Max Verstappen as the Drivers’ Champion and Red Bull Racing achieving their fifth World Constructor Championship.
It was also notable for being the final season for four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel, while seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton endured a difficult season with Mercedes, failing to secure either a pole position or Grand Prix win during the season, which was the first time this ever happened in his Formula One career since it began in 2007.
So, there will probably be lots of drama this season.
