New Final Fantasy 16 Trailer Unveils More In-Game Footage Of Its Expansive World
At PAX East 2023, Square Enix held a panel for the upcoming Final Fantasy 16 / Final Fantasy XVI and they unveiled a brand new trailer showcasing in-game engine footage of the game’s expansive world.
What’s impressive is that previous trailers have focused more on the game’s cinematic cutscenes but this new trailer shows us various player-controlled characters running through the game’s varied world and grand environments. There are deserts, jungles, cities, towns and lots of different locations featured in the trailer.
In other related news, Final Fantasy 16 producer Naoki Yoshida recently confirmed that the release date for the PC version of the game will take longer than just six months after the PS5 release date. For more on Final Fantasy 16, check out the gameplay video below and the rest of our coverage.
Final Fantasy 16 will launch for the PS5 on 22 June 2023.
