Nintendo Announces Nintendo Live 2023 Seattle Event

Nintendo has announced Nintendo Live 2023 Seattle, a physical event that will be held in Seattle in the United States Of America (USA) in September 2023. According to the press release, it will feature “fun gameplay, live stage performances, exciting gaming tournaments, memorable photo ops, and more.”

Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser said:

“Fans of all ages can currently experience the unique games, characters and worlds of Nintendo on Nintendo Switch, but we want to expand that scope with a new experience. With Nintendo Live 2023, we’re giving attendees a chance to celebrate together with family, friends and the broader Nintendo community in the spirit of fun and creating long-lasting memories.”

At the event, attendees will be able to experience a “wide variety” of Nintendo game-inspired activities across a large-scale themed area, take part in Switch gameplay, enjoy live entertainment, cheer on gaming tournaments, and take photos with recognizable characters like Mario and Luigi, among other activities.

More details about the event will be revealed in the future. Perhaps this is intended to be Nintendo’s official replacement for E3. We’ll have to wait and see.
