New 2D Co-op Game 33 Immortals Slated For 2024

Just announced during the Xbox Games Showcase, Thunder Lotus Games, the mastermind behind Spiritfarer, has given us a sneak peek of their upcoming project, 33 Immortals, slated for release in 2024.

This new co-op game puts the spotlight on epic raids, where a whopping 33 players join forces for some thrilling top-down action. The debut trailer left us in awe as this mighty squad bravely confronted hordes of enemies and colossal bosses, creating a jaw-dropping spectacle.

Now, don’t be mistaken, 33 Immortals is quite the departure from the poignant and introspective Spiritfarer, which I lovingly described as a “captivating blend of heart-pounding action and a tender town management experience” in my review back in 2020. Instead, this latest venture from Thunder Lotus takes us back to their roots with a similar vibe to their previous hit, Jotun.
