Persona 5: The Phantom X To Be In ChinaJoy 2023; Demo Slated July 2023
SEGA, ATLUS, and Perfect World Games announced that the upcoming mobile game, Persona 5: The Phantom X will be showcased at ChinaJoy 2023, also known as China Digital Entertainment Expo & Conference in Shanghai.

Persona 5: The Phantom X is a new mobile game, a spin-off of Atlus’s Persona 5 series. This game follows a protagonist who lives a double life, attending school during the day (this time at the Kiba Academy) and patrolling the metaverse at night to find new personas and enemies. Characters from the original series, such as Joker, will also appear in Persona 5: The Phantom X as party members, as well as a new protagonist and party members.
Those who attended the ChinaJoy 2023 event will be able to experience the playable demo from 28 – 31 July 2023. Moreover, attendees get to purchase new merchandise for Persona 5: The Phantom X at the official booth, located at N2-03. Moreover, players who pre-registered the game will receive free in-game goodies, though they have yet to announce the specifics of it.
In addition, Perfect World Games confirms a second beta test for Persona 5: The Phantom X will be held in Q3 2023. The upcoming beta test will feature new characters, stories, and areas. For the first beta test of Persona 5: The Phantom X, Android was the only supported platform, inclusive in China, and similar restrictions may apply for the second beta test as well.
Persona 5: The Phantom X is slated to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in China and Southeast Asia.
