Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Delayed To Fall 2024
At PAX WEST, Paradox Interactive announced that Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will now launch for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime in fall 2024. This is simply the latest delay in a long list of delays ever since the game was originally announced all the way back in 2019.
They also announced that a brand new developer is working on Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 and that is UK-based studio, The Chinese Room. Previously, the original developers were Hardsuit Labs.
The Chinese Room is a game development studio based in Brighton, UK. Since 2012, they have built a reputation for innovative first-person gaming. Their titles include Dear Esther (2012); the cult horror Amnesia A Machine For Pigs (2013); Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture (2015), and the upcoming Still Wakes The Deep (2024).
In Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, players will play the central role in deciding Seattle’s future in an action RPG set amid a three-front siege on the City. The old meets the new in a struggle for Seattle; will the most ruthless win, or is the third actor playing for an entirely different prize? For the first time in a Vampire: The Masquerade video game, players will take on the role of an elder vampire.
It remains to be seen if this new release window will stick, considering how long the game has been in development hell.
