Dead Boy Detectives Trailer Drops During Netflix Geeked Week 2023

During Geeked Week 2023, Netflix unveiled the first trailer for the newly launched original series, Dead Boy Detectives but there is no release date as of yet.

Adapted from DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint IP of the same name and set in The Sandman universe, Dead Boy Detectives narrates the story of two teenage ghosts, Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine. Rather than moving on to the afterlife, they choose to remain on Earth and assume the role of detectives focused on investigating supernatural crimes.

Originally introduced by writer Neil Gaiman and artists Matt Wagner and Malcolm Jones III in The Sandman #25, these characters, Charles Rowland and Edwin Paine, have previously appeared on screen. Sebastian Croft and Ty Tennant brought them to life in the third season of the HBO Max series Doom Patrol.

Initially intended for HBO Max, the show underwent a shift and found its home on Netflix in February 2023.
