Mandalorian & Rocky Actor Carl Weathers Has Died

US-based actor Carl Weathers has passed away. He was 76 and “died peacefully in his sleep” according to a statement from his family (via BBC News).

He was renowned for his iconic role as Apollo Creed in the boxing film series Rocky, and as Colonel Al Dillon in Predator (“Dillon, you sonovabitch!”), as well as Greef Karga in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Other roles Weathers was known for include Combat Carl in Toy Story 4 and as Chubbs in the Adam Sandler movie Happy Gilmore.
