Splatoon 3 DLC Side Order Offers Big Roguelite Slice Gameplay This February

Nintendo has unleased new kraken-sized information about its Splatoon 3 expansion DLC, subtitled Side Order.

In Side Order, you play as Agent 8 who has to turn a mysterious gray building into a colourful place, all the while dealing with many, MANY enemies and obstacles. You climb up floors, with each of them offering changing objectives and escalating difficulty. These include defeating enemies, securing specific areas for a good amount of time, and other skill-based challenges.

You also can power up your Agent using colour chips that help upgrade your Palette. This being a roguelite design, Side Order is meant to be replayed over and over and is catered for both veterans and newbies of Splatoon’s third-person shooting shenanigans.

The DLC will be out on 22 February. That’s next Thursday. In other news, the game’s Fresh Season starts on 1st March and features new multiplayer stages and new weapons.
