Arrowhead Is Seriously Making A Helldivers 2 “Review Bomb” Cape To Commemorate PSN Kerfuffle
If your publisher done effed up bad, why not make light of it post-fiasco with a souvenir of the moment? That’s what Helldivers 2 creator Arrowhead Game Studios is doing to commemorate the weekend of 3rd May to 6th May.
That’s the weekend when Sony put up a PlayStation Network sign-in gate for Helldivers 2 and also delisted the PC version of the game in a majority of countries, which led to the game getting review-bombed. The pressure was more than enough to get Sony to drop the PSN sign-in requirement. As a result, Arrowhead is making a cape to commemorate the moment.
Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt teased the cape in question. It’s a simple design; the cape has blue peaks followed by sudden red drops.

Pilestedt even said that the cape already has a name, but will only share it once it’s officially out. We’re guessing the new cape will be out during the game’s next big war event.
The first time Arrowhead made a cape to commemorate real-world efforts was in early April, to celebrate the game’s liberation of Malevelon Creek.
