The King Of Fighters XV Will Be Getting More Characters & DLC Despite The New Fatal Fury Being Developed

With Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves still in development, no doubt developers SNK are hard at work getting it out in early 2025. In spite of this, the company is hard at work making new content for its existing fighting title The King of Fighters XV (KOF XV).

According to KOF XV producer Yasuyuki Oda in an interview from fighting game content creator Rooflemonger, the game will get more post-launch content and characters in the future, perhaps even a Season 3 DLC pack. Ergo, there will be more life in KOF XV in the future, and maybe a new EVO 2024 announcement or two.

“We are planning to add a few more characters to the game. More details to come in the future, but there’s nothing to share explicitly today.”

The last few characters who came out in KOF XV post-launch are Goenitz, Kim Kaphwan, Sylvie Paula Paula, Nadj, and Hinako. Check out the full video interview below for more on Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and other SNK-related fighters:
