Charmed Actress Shannen Doherty Dies At 53

Shannen Doherty has passed away at the age of 53 due to breast cancer, according to a report by Variety.

In a statement, Doherty’s publicist Leslie Sloane said:

“It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease.”

The late actress had decades of experience and work in various movies and TV shows. However, most would probably have known her best for roles in two of the most popular series of the era (the 90s and early 2000s), including the drama Beverly Hills, 90210 and the witch fantasy series Charmed.

She also starred in many movies, including in two Kevin Smith-directed movies, including Mallrats in 1995 and Jay Snd Silent Bob Strike Back in 2001.
