Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Arrives On Game Pass This Week
In a much-anticipated move, Microsoft has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available on Game Pass starting 24 July. This announcement, made on Tuesday, confirms earlier reports and marks a significant addition to the subscription service. Gamers can access the game through Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate.
This release marks the first time a Call of Duty game will be included in Game Pass, setting the stage for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 to become the first in the franchise to debut on the service from day one when it launches on 25 October.
Earlier in July, Microsoft increased the prices of Xbox Game Pass and revealed plans to introduce a new Standard subscription tier, which will exclude day-one releases. Additionally, the company is reportedly considering adding more Game Pass options, such as cloud-only and ad-supported tiers, as well as potentially bringing back a family subscription option, which was previously available in select countries.
