Fate/Extra Record Gets Official 2025 Release Window

At the Fate/Grand Order Fes 2024 event, TYPE-MOON studio BB unveiled a new teaser trailer for Fate/Extra Record, which reveals that the game will launch for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC sometime in 2025.

Originally announced in 2020, Fate/Extra Record is a remake of 2010’s Fate/Extra. Fate/Extra originally debuted in 2010 on the PSP. It is a spin-off of Fate/Stay Night, featuring the Moon Holy Grail War, a conflict between Masters and their Servants in a virtual environment managed by Moon Cell, a supercomputer powerful enough to alter reality.

It later received a Japan-exclusive sequel, Fate/Extra CCC, and was then adapted into third-person action Musou games Fate/Extella and Fate/Extella Link.
