TGS 2024: Promise Mascot Agency unveils new Quirky Trailer

Kaizen Game Works, known for the unique first-person detective adventure game Paradise Killer, has released a new trailer showcasing more of the quirky world of Promise Mascot Agency at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

The 1-minute trailer shows more of the same as what we saw in the previously released deep dive trailer of the game, but without the commentary. Snippets of the gameplay have revealed what players can expect in this open-world mascot management crime drama.

In this game, you take on the hero named Michizane “Michi” Sugawara, is exiled to a cursed town to turn a bankrupt mascot agency into a profitable enterprise. But he’s not alone, his trusty mascot assistant called Pinky (as in a pinky finger), to help you build this enterprise by recruiting other mascots, sending them to jobs, gaining experience and spreading the name of the Promise Mascot Agency far and wide.

You will also have to repay a huge debt to the yakuza family you were exiled from. If that’s not the worst, in this backwater Japanese town, there is a curse taking place where Yakuza members are being hunted, and killing them. It’s your task to unravel the mystery and get the Mascot business up and running smoothly.

Oli Clarke, Game Director of Kaizen Game Works, has expressed his excitment:

“Japanese games are the best, and now here we are, with a stage demo and trailer at the Tokyo Game Show! WOW! It is an honour to have our game played live by the nicest man in games, Shuhei Yoshida. We hope you enjoy his stage show and our new trailer. Mascots rule!”

Promise Mascot Agency will be out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in early 2025.
