The latest update for Zenless Zone Zero (16 October) adds in a new character in the character gacha banner: Burnice White of the Sons of Calydon faction.

She’s the resident bartender of the group and she’s a fan of fire and warmth. She is also a Fire elemental Anomaly user, meaning she can apply damage-over-time effects with ease.

Zenless Zone Zero: Burnice White Overview

Burnice White is a 5-star Anomaly unit who specializes in burning enemies with her moves and kit. She can inflict the Burn status effect on enemies and provide off-field damage with Afterburn.

Due to these two mechanics, she has a pretty direct gameplan and is easy to use. Unfortunately, she isn’t friendly towards free-to-play players as she needs a “paid team” to maximize her usefulness. She also requires Energy Regen perks to keep up her use of her EX Special Attack; she’s not the most energy-efficient character.

Burnice Best Build

Burnice’s equipment and Engines need to add damage when she’s off the field. Also, they need to buff her Anomaly Mastery and Anomaly Proficiency stats.

Best W-Engines: Flamemaker Shaker, Electro-Lip Gloss, Roaring Ride, Rainforest Gourmet, Weeping Gemini

Best Drive Discs: Chaos Jazz, Swing Jazz

Stats To Focus On: Anomaly Mastery, Anomaly Proficiency, Fire Damage, PEN Ratio

Burnice Best Team

Burnice, Jane, Caesar, Bangvolver (Bangboo): This isn’t the cheapest team to gacha, but this combination helps deal Disorder Damage after Burnice has applied her Burn and Afterburn effects.

Burnice, Soldier 11, Lucy, Rocketboo (Bangboo): A pretty expensive mono Fire team, but this helps Soldier 11 do big damage once Burnice applies her Burn and Afterburn effects.
