Delta Force Open Beta Kicks Off This December

Tencent has announced that the open beta for Delta Force will launch on PC on 5 December, paving the way for a console and mobile release in early 2025. This beta will be globally accessible through its official launcher, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Replacing the previously mentioned early access phase, this open beta promises a robust live service experience, complete with continuous content updates and no resets on progress. Tencent has described it as “a long-term, stable live service version” rather than a simple test.

While Delta Force will be free-to-play, the beta will introduce optional paid content, such as battle passes and cosmetic items for weapons and vehicles. Importantly, Tencent has assured players that there will be no pay-to-win mechanics.

Players can look forward to a wealth of new features, including additional maps, game modes, Operators, weapons, and vehicles, as well as significant gameplay enhancements like improved performance, bug fixes, and a more effective anti-cheat system. However, it’s worth noting that the beta will not support controllers at launch, though Tencent is actively working on adding this feature soon.

Developed by TiMi Studios—known for hits like Call of Duty: Mobile and Honor of Kings—Delta Force will not only focus on multiplayer but will also include a campaign mode inspired by Ridley Scott’s film, Black Hawk Down.
