Iconic Wallace & Gromit Studio Is Making A New Stop-Motion Pokémon Project

Aardman has teased a new Pokémon stop-motion project. However, it remains to be seen if it will be a movie or series. It will premiere sometime in 2027, which is four years away.

The teaser doesn’t reveal much details or information, only showing two stop-motion Poké balls.

Taito Okiura, VP of Marketing and Media at The Pokémon Company International, commented,

The British animation studio is best known for films and television series made using stop motion and clay animation techniques, particularly those featuring its plasticine characters from Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, and Shaun The Sheep.

Their most recent movie is Wallace & Gromit Vengeance Most Fowl, which will premiere on Netflix on 3 January 2025.

There has previously already been another stop-motion Pokémon project, Pokémon Concierge which premiered on Netflix in December 2024.
