Call Of Duty Gets The Green Light For Squid Game Next Week
Earlier this month, Activision and Netflix announced the Call Of Duty Squid Game collaboration to celebrate the release of Squid Game Season 2 on 26 December 2024.
They have released a new trailer teasing the Call Of Duty Squid Game collaboration. Players can expect Squid Game Operators, Weapon Blueprints, Limited Time Modes and more in the update.
Players can look forward to limited-time modes that could feature creative reinterpretations of iconic games like “Red Light, Green Light” and “Tug of War,” adapted to use BO6’s signature mechanics and arsenal. These modes are expected to add a fresh and exciting twist to the familiar gameplay.
The event is also expected to bring exclusive cosmetics, including operator skins modelled after the series’ infamous pink jumpsuits worn by the guards and the enigmatic Front Man.
Furthermore, the event will likely offer a variety of unlockable rewards, such as themed calling cards, weapon blueprints, and emblems, attainable by completing event-specific challenges.
The Call Of Duty Squid Game collaboration begins on 3 January 2025 in Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 and Call Of Duty Warzone.
In the upcoming Squid Game Season 2, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) returns, locked in a tense battle with the shadowy Front Man (Lee Byung-hun). As new games unfold, the stakes grow deadlier, and Gi-hun’s mission to end the games once and for all takes centre stage. Will he succeed, or will the system claim even more victims?
