Honor Of Kings Spin-Off Action-Adventure RPG Announced

Publisher Tencent Games and developer TiMi Studio Group have released a new trailer for its upcoming open world action RPG Honor of Kings: World. It’s a spin-off of the Honor of Kings MOBA and it sure looks familiar to another game we’ve played years ago…

Just like Dungeon & Fighter, the Honor of Kings franchise is taking a page from HoYoverse’s Genshin Impact and Kuro Games’ Wuthering Waves and making its own Breath of the Wild open world online-with-friends-optional RPG. There’s a mix of sci-fi and fantasy in the Honor of Kings world, so you get to use a jetpack and fight off giant mechas on a daily basis. Or should I say “Dailies”.

No release date has been announced yet, but the game’s website is out now and you can register for the overseas playtest. If you’re at this year’s Game Developer Conference (GDC), you can check the game out via a closed-door playtest. Given the Honor of Kings’ license and popularity in China and Asia countries, it’ll no doubt be out for PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation consoles.
