The Malaysian game makers of Re:Legend is hard at work at another big project, this time with bigtime Japanese publisher Shueisha Games.

Shueisha Games and Magnus Games Studio have revealed open-world survival crafting RPG Wild Wild Eden. Previously known as Project Survival back in July 2023, the new RPG will launch in Early Access form for PC (Steam) in Spring 2027.

We’re DC and Welson, co-founders of Magnus Games Studio, and we’re thrilled to finally share the game we’ve poured our hearts and souls into with all of you.

Wild Wild Eden is an open-world, anime-inspired survival crafting RPG born from a passionate collaboration between the team at Magnus Games Studio and the incredible team at Shueisha Games. Whether you choose to brave the wilderness as a lone wanderer or jump into online co-op with friends to create unforgettable memories together, how you experience the world is entirely up to you.

This project has been a truly special journey for us. Since founding our studio in 2017, we’ve remained dedicated to creating monster-raising games inspired by our lifelong love of animals. Our passion for rivers, mountains, and exploring the unknown—as well as the time we’ve spent with our own dogs and reptiles—has provided endless inspiration throughout the years. We’ve poured all of those experiences and emotions into this new adventure, combining monster raising, exploration, survival, and crafting into a single experience.

At the heart of Wild Wild Eden lies a central mystery: The truth behind our world’s rebirth.

For centuries, we were taught that our home planet had been completely destroyed, forcing our ancestors to flee into the cold emptiness of space. But now, after countless generations, we have finally returned.

This title was first announced in 2023 as Project Survival, and I am very pleased to finally unveil its reborn form under its official title, Wild Wild Eden.

Since the game’s initial announcement, we’ve changed development engines, and both its visuals and its core have evolved significantly. Switching engines was a major decision during development, but DC, Welson, and the entire team at Magnus Games Studio made it happen. I’m truly amazed by their dedication and ability to deliver a game of such incredible quality.

I’m confident that players will be able to feel the passion and effort that has gone into every aspect of the game.

There are so many things I’d love to talk about—the improvements, the exciting new features, the visuals, and much more—but I hope you’ll continue following our updates as we prepare to bring the game into your hands. We can’t wait for you to experience it for yourselves.

There are already many outstanding survival games that have come before us, and throughout development our team spent a great deal of time asking ourselves: “What makes this game unique? What is it that only this game can offer?”

The answer we arrived at was the bond between players and their monsters—the opportunity to spend time together not as tools or resources, but as true members of the family.

Feed them, and they’ll happily come running to greet you. Watch them relax in their favourite spots or play together with other monsters. At times, they may be a little clumsy, but they’ll always do their best to help support your settlement.

Our goal was never to create a world that players would visit briefly, enjoy for a while, and then leave behind. We wanted to create a warm and welcoming home—a place where players genuinely think, “I want to live in this world forever.”
