For Honor’s Halloween Event Is Now Live, Monsters Included

We definitely remember 2017’s For Honor, a multiplayer medieval sword-laden fighting game that’s still garnering a noticeable fan base. We definitely enjoyed the hell out of it, so maybe these updates may pull us back into the melee fray.

Ubisoft just released its annual For Honor Halloween event called Fangs of the Underworld. Basically, you get to don rubbery monster masks from costume stores for the current festivities. You can also earn new battle outfits, effects, and weapons from the timed mode called Spooky Slashers.

What is Spooky Slashers? It’s a modified Dominion Mode where players have to capture zones to pick up special buffs that allow them to take on demons hiding in the map. Dying basically drops all your buffs, so it’s best you don’t do much of that lest someone else steals it from you.

If that trailer piqued your interest, you should know that it’ll run from now until 4th November. You’ll be able to buy unique Halloween item packs for each hero in the in-game shop, because this is Ubisoft we’re still talking about.
